Job Description
Our Client:
Our client is headquartered in The Hague, Netherlands, the company's core business is the development, manufacturing, and marketing of synthetic high-performance rubber for use in the automotive and tire industries, the construction industry, and the oil and gas industries. They are actively looking to hire an Assistant Manager to handle full set of accounts - Accounting, Tax, and Treasury.
The Responsibilities:
* Prepare and handling full set of accounts for the company including general entries posting & open items schedules
* Prepare, examine & analyze accounts record for management, financial and statutory reporting for monthly, quarterly & yearly submission to ensure accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
* Responsible for audit process, audit report preparation and tax compliance
* Responsible for tax submission including corporate income tax, GST, withholding, Japan & Korea tax
* Yearly rotation of responsibilities between accounting, treasury & tax
* Assist in budget process
* Any other duties assigned as required
The Requirements:
* Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
* Min. 5 years in Big 4 audit firm & 2 years commercial experience, with strong knowledge of IFRS & taxation
* Those with Treasury, Fixed Asset Management and/or International Tax experience will be a plus
* Proficient in SAP S4, MS Excel, Word, etc
* Positive team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Possess strong analytical skills
* Adept in working under pressure and tight timelines
* Self-motivated, meticulous, and able to work independently
* Enjoyment of dynamic and fast-moving environment
