Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a global key player of plastic, chemicals, and refining sector, headquartered in Netherlands. They are actively looking to hire a Regional Product Manager to develop and execute marketing, pricing, and sales strategy for solvents in Asia in support of the organization's global strategy. Successful candidate should have balanced knowledge of marketing, sales, supply demand, pricing, and asset management strategy.

The Responsibilities:

* Development and execution of long-term business plan for Asia, as well as other opportunities as identify
* Drive and execution of functional plans (logistic, finance, IT) require for successful growth of company's business in Asia
* Leading the effort towards financial investment decision for new capacity in Asia and associated multi-discipline planning (e.g., sales, finance, legal, supply chain, tax, etc.)
* Interface with JV in Asia to identify and execute on opportunities to create value
* Provide definitive outlook on short- and long-term market trends in Asia for future opportunities within the region
* Development of sales tactics and implementation marketing strategies to maximize value of solvents portfolio
* Development of contractual pricing strategies and oversee execution of solvents portfolio
* Coaching and guiding the team on solvents market in Asia
* Provide expertise on solvents market in Asia, in coordination with US and EU team to create most value
* Purchase, trade, and swap product as necessary to achieve optimization of supply and profit objectives
* Evaluate competitor's activities, produce price forecasting in line with marketing objectives in order to assist business analysis and strategy
* Ensure profitability and viability of the business within company's policy and objectives

The Requirements:

* Minimum Degree in Business/ Science/ Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering, MBA preferred
* Minimum 12 years of relevant experience within the Petrochemical Industry (including supply demand concepts), familiarity with China Petrochemical market preferred
* High level of verbal and written communication skills, as well as business analytical skills
