Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a worldwide transport and logistic leader with HQ in France, providing end-to-end solution in freight forwarding, contract logistics, distribution & express, road transport, and supply chain optimization. They are actively looking to hire a Booking Manager to oversee the booking operation team and support day-to-day sea freight operations.

The Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage booking operations to achieve key performance metric
* Monitor and ensure compliance of operational KPI
* Develop improvement plan for booking team
* Monitor and analyze operation's P&L, establish business control, and provide solutions to increase revenue
* Deliver YOY savings and all other financial performance KPIs
* Works collaboratively with client and internal stakeholders to assure operational effectiveness and exceed customer expectations
* Work closely together with internal departments to coordinate on customer's shipments
* Planning, organizing, and managing staff members to ensure work is completed and consistent with the company's standards
* Directing investigations to verify and resolve customer complaints
* Coordinate on shipment and transportation arrangements on sea freight
* Maintain good rapport and working relationship with customer, ensure their order are promptly processed; as well as requirements are fulfilled timely and in appropriate manner
* Daily reporting as per client's requirement
* Prepare Bill of Lading
* Arrange for customs clearance permit and submit shipping instructions to carriers
* Ensuring revenue and cost in systems and timely billing
* Other functions as assigned by Manager

The Requirements:

* Minimum Diploma in Engineering/ Logistic/ Supply Chain/ Industrial Engineering
* Minimum 5 years of related working experience with good understanding Supply Chain, Logistic and Transportation Industry
* Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Preferably with experience using Cargo Wise, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) & TradeNet
* Good communications and interpersonal skills
* Good leadership, positive, self-motivator with analytical and problem-solving skills
* Independent and able to work in fast-paced and stressful environment
