They are in an expansion phase across Asia Pacific and is currently looking to hire a HR Executive, APAC to take care of Singapore, Australia and China's office.

About the Team:

Part of a HR team in Singapore, this role an individual contributor role which you will act as a business partner to business leaders by providing HR advice and support.

You will oversee employee life cycle management, providing expert HR advice, guidance and support on people related matters, such as organisational design, change management, recruitment & selection, on-boarding/off-boarding, compensation and benefits, talent management, training development, compliance, engagement, performance monitoring, HR budgeting, employee relations/counselling, etc.

You will report directly to the Senior Manager, HR based in Singapore, with good administrative support from India's HR & Admin team.

The Responsibilities:

Human Resources (~90%)

* Act as a business partner to business leaders by providing a highly professional, confidential and efficient service of support to all stakeholders in line with current APAC (Singapore, Australia, China) employment labour legislation & regulations, equal employment opportunity and best practice.
* End-to-end Generalist role where you oversee employee life cycle management, providing expert HR advice, guidance and support on people related matters, such as organisational design, change management, recruitment & selection, on-boarding/off-boarding, compensation and benefits, talent management, training development, compliance, engagement, performance monitoring, HR budgeting, employee relations/counselling, etc.

* Be accountable for delivery of ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives from inception through to integration, to continuously drive improved business performance
* Utilise HR and business performance metrics to design policies and procedures and identify solutions that drive continuous improvement and minimise risk
* Work closely with Finance and outsourcing payroll vendor in payroll and claim processing for Singapore, Australia & China offices
* Assist with all compensation and benefit programs and administration including salary scoping, compensation changes, leave administration, incentive plan processing, insurance policy renewals and insurance related matters, flex-benefits administration
* Accountable for accuracy and up-to-date data update in the HR system and in accordance with audit guidelines, local laws and regulations for ensuring compliance

* Undertake HR administration duties including creation & maintenance of employee master list & records, employee contracts, variations of contracts, confirmation letters, work pass administration, training enrolments and record administration statutory surveys, logistic support for office events, etc.
* Coordination and preparation of presentation deck for communication sessions and celebrative events (e.g. town hall, off-site meeting, LSA, etc.)

Office Administration (~10%)

* Develop, monitor, implement and assess office procedures and systems (e.g. record management) to ensure smooth, effective and efficient office operations

* Coordinate maintenance and supplies for all general office equipment, stationery and pantry related purchases
* Work closely with facility department on office leasing agreement and renewal, office equipment service & maintenance contracts, help facilitate office plan and organize layout, space planning, seating arrangements, renovation / office moves, if needed
* Handle budget and expenditure management for office related expenses
* Liaise with landlord to coordinate fire drills and other building related service (i.e. security cards and parking enquiries)

The Requirements:

* Diploma/ Degree in Business, Human Resources Management or similar studies
* Proven experience as a HR Generalist/ Specialist
* Enjoys working on HR projects as you will get exposure in this role
* Open to candidates without regional experience but keen to have development in regional scope
* Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
* Good knowledge of local employment/labor laws
* Strong communication skills who can deliver ideas and look through strategic lenses and is someone innovative and solutions driven
* Resourceful and able to work independently at the same time a good team player
