Our Client:

An excellent opportunity to join our client who is a market leader within Semiconductor Manufacturing industry. They are currently looking to hire a HR Director, People Success to take care of both Singapore's HR operations. Total headcount in Singapore is around 1200.

About the Team:
Part of a HR team of 13, this is a strategic role where the Head of HR/ HR Director will lead and manage the Singapore HR team and drive the development and execution of the HR strategy to support the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.

The incumbent would be a trusted business partner to the leadership team and be a culture champion to the organization. He/She will report directly to CEO and be part of management leadership team.

The Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement the human resource strategy that aligns with the organization's vision, mission and long term business objectives
* Lead the HR functions by providing HR management advice and expertise in order to maximize the effectiveness of human resource in achieving sustainable success
* Support management by providing human resource advice, counsel and decisions
* Execute internal communications campaigns to drive employee education and engagement around the business strategy
* Plan, implement and facilitate HR initiatives (such as workforce planning, talent management and rewards planning)
* Promote and increase cross-functional collaboration and partnership
* Actively grow the abilities and skills of employees through formal training programs, mentorship and hands-on learning
* Ensure that all HR programs are implemented in line with the organization's human resource strategies
* Be an advocate for and drive the organization culture

System used: SAP SuccessFactors

The Requirements:

* Degree or Master's in Business, Human Resources Management or similar studies
* Minimum of 15 years of related experience in business with specific experience in HR, consulting, project management and change management
* Manufacturing industry experience is an advantage, coupled with experience dealing with direct labour and foreigners
* Ability to resolve both operational and strategic issues through a pragmatic and commercially sound approach
* Able to make strategic plans and decisions, with a balance of both business and people agenda
* Capable to build strong working relationships with business heads and department managers
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, and capability to coach managers
* Actively support and develop team members, quick to identify problems and resolve any issues
* Excellent interpersonal, counselling, communication, and negotiation skills; with good ability to build relations with employees and vendors
* Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices
