Job Description

Our Client:
Our client is one of the growing Industrial Gases Manufacturing MNCs based in Japan. They are actively looking to hire a motivated and experienced person to work as Regional Digitalization Specialist to join their regional HQ in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

* Reporting to Manager, Special Projects
* Engage with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for digitalization
* Seek out and propose new digital initiatives to tackle complex business challenges and accelerate digital transformation
* Manage end-to-end digital projects (Mobile Asset Management, Enterprise Asset Management, Remote Operations), including development of interactive visualizations (PowerBI)
* Contribute to development of Digitalization Roadmap
* Strategize, plan, and execute curriculum and activities to raise the awareness and competencies of employees in new digitalization capabilities
* Draft guidelines and standards related to digitalization
* Support and coordinate engineering projects related to emerging trends
* Liaise with technical experts and plant/equipment manufacturers to propose feasible solutions to the stakeholders
* Support in operations data analysis to address operational concerns
* Support as part of the organizing committee to host regional conferences

The Requirements:

* Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or relevant field
* 2 to 3 years of working experience on executing Digitalization Projects, preferably in the Gas & Chemical Industry
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) with knowledge in Microsoft PowerBI/Power Automate would be advantageous
* Possess strong initiative to take on challenges and work independently
* Great communication & interpersonal skills
* Willingness to travel, as and when required
