Our Client:

With 4,000 employees worldwide, and presence in Singapore as a sales office, they are currently looking to hire a HR & Administration Manager to take care of Singapore's office. Total headcount is around 20.

About the Team:

This role is an individual contributor role which will be part of the Management Team in Singapore.

Your role is pivotal as a trusted advisor to the team and management, while implementing and managing a variety of HR Operational tasks and projects by working closely with the local management team.

You will report directly to the MD seated in Singapore and be supported by Administrative Executive.

The Responsibilities:

Human Resources

* Handle full spectrum of recruitment and selection, compensation, and benefits (including processing of payroll), training and employee development and budget management
* Assist in administering compensation and benefits changes associated with merit increases, promotions, transfers, terminations, and leaves of absence
* Review of HR policies and procedures and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures in line with business needs and in accordance with local labour legislation
* Oversee performance management and improvement process
* Deliver on-boarding program for new hires as well as conduct exit interviews with departing staff
* Identify, develop, and implement training & development programs to improve competencies & effectiveness of all employees
* Guide managers and supervisors in appropriate and fair human resource practices
* Administration of company benefit and insurance schemes including periodic reviews and updates as well as liaison with insurance brokers relating to medical insurance
* Look into the enhancement of existing welfare programs & employee relation activities to enhance the relationship between management and staff
* Research and recommend pay structures and annual pay revision

Administration

* Oversee day-to-day office administration
* IT management of Singapore systems and assets; liaise with HQ IT & management of local IT vendor on office IT systems requirement and matters
* Oversee facilities planning, maintenance, liaising with vendors, landlords to ensure smooth running of the office
* Organizing company events / company trip, staff events
* To be the Compliance delegate to be responsible for the rollout, implementation, and execution of the Compliance Program at Singapore level

The Requirements:

* Preferably able to commence in short notice/ within 1 month
* Degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or similar studies
* Proven experience as a HR Generalist with hands-on experience in HR and Office Admin tasks
* Good knowledge of local employment/labor laws
* Strong communication skills who can deliver ideas and look through strategic lenses and is someone innovative and solutions driven
* Resourceful and able to work independently at the same time a good team player
