Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is one of the largest rubber producers globally, with products used in a wide range of applications such as automotive, electrical, construction and energy industries. They are actively looking to hire an Inspection Engineer to ensure processes are compliant with safety standards, statutory requirements, and regulations as well as corporate standards.

The Responsibilities:

* Ensure compliance with safety standards, local legislation, statutory requirements as well as regulation
* Ensure corporate standards and guidelines are follow thru whilst performing work
* Handle inspection of all static equipment (e.g. piping, PSV, pressured, etc equipment)
* Handle pressure vessel management system (PVMS) to MOM's CLA extension scheme
* Handle risk-based inspection (RBI) for steam and air equipment
* Respond to request for assistant timely, handle mechanical inspection of static and safety device to meet expectations of execution team
* Identify issues of static equipment, make recommendations to address issues, participate with functional engineering team to solve issue
* Supervise contractor's work, ensure safety, quality, and reliability of work matches the organization's standard
* Establish and maintain proper record in Inspection data management system
* Provide support for emergency/unscheduled plant shutdown/turnaround as and when require
* Liaise with maintenance planner, engineers, and supervisors to improve preventive maintenance schedules
* Perform root cause analysis on equipment failure, develop counter measures
* Make recommendation on static equipment installation, utilize the asset management system (AMS) management of change (MOC) process including proper documentation for changes done
* Development of work procedures

The Requirements:

* Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical/ Material Engineering and other related discipline
* Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Petrochemical/ Chemical Industry
* A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
