Our Client:
Our client is a German industrial machine manufacturing company. They are actively looking to hire a Software Application Engineer to join them.
The Responsibilities:
* Conduct "train the trainer" software workshops with local Software Engineers
* Support Machine Tool Sales and Software Engineers in CNC programming for simple time studies
* Create software product reports for the Regional Software Centre
* Customer support
* Provide regional support for Sales Managers on software product, license, and pricing
* Provide regional consultation for customers on software product range
* Provide regional technical support for customers on software products
* Provide regional application support for customers with help of products
The Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
* At least 5 years of relevant work experience, ideally in an MNC business in the Sheet Metal Fabrication Industry
* A team player possessing creativity, adaptability, flexibility, and decisiveness
* A customer-centered mindset by owning the customers' challenges
* Interpersonal relationship skills in dealing with multiple levels of customers, both internal and external
* Ability to work under pressure serving multiple objectives with time constraints
* Flexibility to travel around Southeast Asia
* Ability to interpret sheet metal engineering drawings
* Experienced in installation of software in workstations
* Basic user of MS Office products and other Windows based application programs
* Experience in software products particularly: TruTops Laser, Punch or Boost will be an advantage
