Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a global leader in Logistic Industry, they specialize in port and warehouse facilities. They have an extensive international reach that allows efficient and first-class handling of commodities across the entire supply chain. With the business expansion requirements. They are actively looking to hire a Warehouse Administrative Assistant to support the warehouse operations in Jurong Port.

The Responsibilities:

* Planning of daily warehouse activities, physical activities, inbound and outbound shipment
* Ensure vendor conduct daily checks and test weight on weighing scale
* Assist in space planning for inbound shipment and cargo shifting
* Counting availability of warehouse space and updating inventory
* Conduct daily warehouse check, report to management on any suspicious/ abnormal activities
* Compile operation reports and submit to management timely
* Printing and scanning work order, maintain proper physical filling of WOI/ labelling/ file storage
* Liaison with internal operation teams in matters related to operation
* Conduct manual check on tally sheet
* Ad hoc tasks assigned from time-to-time

The Requirements:

* Minimum O-level with 1-2 years of experience working in warehouse setting
* Must be comfortable with 5.5 days' work week and performing overtime, as and when required
* Based in Jurong Port warehouse (non-airconditioned)
* Good working knowledge of MS Office
* Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese to be able to liaise effectively with native Mandarin-speaking counterparts
* Team player with good verbal and written communication skills
* Good interpersonal skills to work with cross functional and multicultural teams
* Independent and responsible, able to work under minimal supervision
