Our Client:
Our client is one of the leading MNCs and they believe in developing next-generation products to provide maximized performance, reliability, and longevity. They are actively looking to hire a Validation Engineer to join their ever-growing team.
The Responsibilities:
* Provide front-line support to customer
* Gather testing specification/ technical concerns from customer & update HQ relevant team
* Regular visit to develop and enhance relationship with customer
* Provide front line support to customer and assist them during qualification stage and ensure timely development schedule by completing all the tests within customer & HQ's test scope and requirement
* Conduct verification test to ensure SSD product's interoperability/ compatibility with customer's latest firmware/bios/driver version
* Provide regular test plan/quality review report
* Provide on-site support or FA analysis at customer's lab, test results and report to internal team for review
* Conduct various functional/validation tests based on HQ/customer's testing condition during NPI
* Follow up quality issues during new product qualification
* Collaborate with HQ to enhance SSD testing coverage/items
The Requirements:
* Diploma or Degree Electronics/Electrical or equivalent
* Basic working knowledge with Windows or Linux operating system
* Good understanding of PC operating system & hardware architecture
* Working experience in either SSD or HDD Industry would be an advantage
* Experience with SATA and/or NVMe storage interface protocols
* Experience using SATA/PCIe/NVMe bus analyzers and Analog/MixedSignal scopes would be beneficial
* Participate in setting up of test environment and PC in preparation for validation
* Execute testing of SSD on PC platforms to validate functionality
* Experience in the debug of laptop/desktop/server systems would be an advantage
* On-site perform debug and analysis of failures if required
* Tabulate test results and generate report for internal/customer review or tracking
