Our client is one of the largest systems integrators, headquartered in Japan. They are the leading provider of end-to-end ICT-based business solutions for the global marketplace. Currently, looking to hire a Project Manager to join their ever-growing team.
About the Role:
Project Management, Application plays a key role in managing customer requirements/needs for banks' business utilizing IT solution in both new and existing systems. Incumbent manages the positive relationships with customers communicating with project management and teams to provide IT solution. In particular, the main area of this role is Domestic/Foreign remittance system.
The Responsibilities:
* Lead, plan, and manage assigned projects within the business group, in accordance with organizational and project goals, such as budget, timelines and quality, to ensure successful achievement of project objectives and deliverables
* Adapt and implement project methodologies, processes, documentation, tools, and measurements in relation to project management
* Create project schedule (WBS) and plan as well as securing necessary resources by arranging with group offshore company and hiring new staff via agent
* Provide progress updates on assigned projects to stakeholders including customer and executives
* Ensure that projects performed in compliance with Company's ISO quality standards and project management's model
* Ensure all Service Requests and assigned projects' tasks are completed as per agreed schedules
The Requirements:
* Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology or its equivalent
* At least 8 years of related experience in IT System Integration (SI) Industry, specifically in the Project Management of medium to large projects
* At least 5 years of experience in system development in Banking domains
* Knowledge of project management software tools (e.g., Excel, MS Project, JIRA) and techniques is a must
* In-depth knowledge of foreign remittance (i.e., SWIFT MT/MX message)
* Experience in Mission Critical System with proven ability to work in large groups
* Basic knowledge of Banking domain in Singapore (e.g. MAS regulation)
* Strong leadership skills to lead and motivate the project team in project implementation
* Effective influencing, organizational and problem-solving skills
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication skills and ability to interact with all levels
* Strong presentation skills and ability to write professionally
