Our Client:

Our client offers a flexible and cost-effective semiconductor fabrication solutions by maintaining fully equipped cleanroom environment, equipment automation and proven wafer-manufacturing processes. They are actively looking to hire a Senior Manager/Manager to join their ever-growing team.

The Responsibilities:

* To manage and lead a group of Principal Engineers, Senior Engineers, Engineers, and Associate
* Engineers to sustain and optimize process capability to meet modules goals and achieve company objective
* Establish plans and strategies to meet and surpass manufacturing performance indices
* Establish smooth operation of manufacturing through the establishment of robust manufacturing processes, high equipment availability and clear operating procedures
* Round the clock standby for impromptu tool issues and specific decision making
* Daily participation and implementing corrective and preventive measures in equipment/process troubleshooting and Process sustaining issues
* Lead/ Design/ Construct/ Execute/ Participate in cross functional and continuous improvement projects in fields of: Yield, quality, cost, productivity, efficiency, throughput, tool startups, uptime, defects reduction, production line issues and tools defense, work improvement utilizing a wide variety of analytical techniques (run charts, Histograms, Pareto charts, Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical process control charts (SPC)
* Provide training and guidance to Engineers and Associate Engineers to achieve maximum performance effectiveness
* Ensure good housekeeping and safety practices in the Fab
* Coordinate with both equipment and manufacturing Engineers to meet module objectives
* Supervisory, mentoring & coaching of engineers
* Perform appraisals and map career path for subordinates
* Conduct regular feedback and communication sessions with staff for work improvement and maintain morale
* Lead/Participate/contribute in Process and Product transfers to and from different global wafer fabs from Research & Development to engineering and manufacturing
* Lead/Participate in Transform Platform and develop Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Best Known Methods (BKM), patents and Trade Secrets to drive value creation
* Lead/Participate in implementation of TSMC/NXP BKMs and establish Company's BKMs
* Lead/Participate in automation solution to improve process quality and cost
* Lead/Participate in troubleshooting and liaise with cross functional modules with product customers of non-conforming manufactured product to determine root cause technical & yield concerns
* Work with both internal and external customers to improve yield and quality
* Provide Good Leadership to the Process team to keep Attrition rate within Control

The Requirements:

* PhD/Master/Degree in Chemical, Materials, Chemistry, Physics, and Electrical, Electronics Engineering and other relevant fields
* At least 8-10 years' experience in frontend semiconductor manufacturing environment
* A strong background and experience in semiconductor manufacturing process engineering
* Project management experience and production scheduling
* Good ability and experience working in a multicultural environment
* Outstanding interpersonal skills and presentation skills
* Good analytical & problem-solving skills
* Detail-oriented and able to take pressure under time-constrained situation
