The Responsibilities:
* Designing and developing new web applications
* Maintaining and troubleshooting existing web applications
* Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby Code
* Integrating data storage solutions
* Creating back-end components
* Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs
* Integrating user-facing elements designed by the front-end team
* Connecting applications with additional web servers
* Maintaining APIs
* Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
The Requirements:
* At least 4 years or more of web application development
* Minimum 2 years of working experience in developing web applications using Ruby on Rails and React JS (5 years or more can be considered for senior roles)
* Experience with both frontend and backend development
* Write high-quality and maintainable code on open-source web platforms and frameworks (Ex: Ruby on Rails, ReactJS, etc.)
* Experience with unit testing and regression testing (such as Rspec, Mocha, Enzyme)
* Experience with SQL/Oracle database
* Experience in ruby backend jobs such as DelayedJob, ActiveJob
* Experience in code versioning tool such as GIT
* Good understanding about OOP, RESTful architectures, and design patterns
* Experience with TDD/BDD and agile methodologies
* Perform code review and guide junior team members on the best practices
* Experience with DevOps
* Knowledge in designing for automation using provisioning tools (Ansible, Chef), Continuous integration tools (TeamCity, Bamboo, etc.) is added advantage
* Experience with application security and application compliance
