Our Client:
Our client is one of the subsidiaries of Japanese league trading house. Their regional office in Singapore is an asset management and due to expansion, they are actively looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their ever-growing team.
The Responsibilities:
* Responsible for closing reports (monthly, quarterly, and yearly)
* Analyze financial data for management review and internal control purpose
* Oversee and monitor budgetary control
* Prepare various internal report with analysis
* Assist external audit to perform annual audit
* Implement internal procedure
* Ad hoc analysis (e.g. tax, new accounting system)
General:
* The jobholder shall be medically fit to undertake the full duties of the post
* Designated location of work and residence for this job position is Singapore but travelling to other countries will be required
* The jobholder may from time to time undertake other assigned
* appropriate duties as required by the Accounting Manager
The Requirements:
Education and Experience
* CPA holder with Bachelor's Degree - Major in Accounting
* Over 7 years' experience with strong IFRS knowledge
* Previous working experience within the energy sector / manufacturing industry is advantages
Knowledge and Expertise
* Independent, well-organized, self-motivated, and good interpersonal skills
* Able to meet tight deadlines and work beyond working hours, as and when required
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Proficient in advance Excel applications
* A team player with good communication skill
* Excellent communication skill in English to communicate effectively with English-speaking stakeholders
* Have strong sense of responsibility
