About the Role:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the execution of medium-size projects and ensuring that all related activities are performed in accordance with Company policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety, & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments.

Reporting to Project Operations Manager, acting as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.

The Responsibilities:

* Leading the project team allocated to the project, defining main guidelines, allocating project tasks, and motivating and monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones. Provides performance feedback regarding allocated resources working on projects
* Defining, jointly with the Project Controls department, all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans
* Ensuring that the project follows execution best practices and the Company policies. Effectively monitoring and controlling project progress and efficient resource utilization. Monitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow
* Ensuring that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with the Company policies and contractual agreements. Coordinating with Supply Chain Management, and successfully procuring required services, materials, and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers
* Ensuring the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies
* Ensuring that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed. Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer
* Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, and managing project risks, and ensures that all opportunities are identified and pursued. Captures, analyses, and shares lessons learned throughout the project
* Executing projects through kick-off meetings, consistent sharing of information with customer and project team, ensure that equipment delivered are as per client specifications and to be the main focal person to execute the project successfully until from delivery to completion of equipment commissioning on site
* There is requirement for the candidate to travel to site frequently to monitor the site installation / testing activities to ensure that the site activities are going on as planned, to author Method Statement, Risk assessment, Safe work procedure for all site related issues

The Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related study
* 5-10 years of experience in Project Management in Critical Facility Environment (Data Centre / Semicon / Oil & Gas) and/or utility industry (within the electrical distribution field)
* Knowledge of Data Center, utility, EPC Electrical Distribution Systems, and local standards
* Knowledge of Medium/Low Voltage switchgear, MV/LV Transformer, and control/automation, including site works (installation, testing & commissioning and integrated test)
* Proficient in planning tools (e.g. MS Project)
* Good knowledge of electrical distribution systems and standards
* Knowledge in MS Office including MS project
* Experience in problem solving and decision making
* Proficient in oral and written English communication to be able to liaise effectively with English-speaking stakeholders
