Our Client:
Our client is a US-Listed Fortune 500 company and a leader in the design, manufacture, and sale of packaging products and containers. They are actively looking for a Compliance Manager to join their team.
The Responsibilities:
* Oversee the strategy and implementation of the compliance program that operates to identify
* Internal Control weaknesses, regulatory and legal risk and embed the highest standards of compliance
* Develop, maintain, and review policies, procedures, and processes to align compliance with the overall business strategy and make recommendations to Management
* Review and update Risk Control Matrix of the individual entities
* Provide regular feedback to Management regarding the design and operation of the compliance program, key risks and issues, and the adequacy and effectiveness of compliance program operations and resourcing
* Identify, propose, and implement appropriate solutions and compliance assurance systems to facilitate compliance and oversight functions
* Manage audits and inspections from external parties and ensure findings are remediated appropriately and timely
The Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy with minimum 6 years in compliance, operation risk control or audit
* Sound understanding on the guidelines on risk management, internal controls, and governance
* Able to communicate effectively with regional and operational Finance people at all levels
* Strong analytical skills
* Ability to multitask competing priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Able to work under the pressure of tight deadlines and work extra hours as required by business needs
* Adaptable and strong team player
* Critical and strategic thinking, ability to face challenging situations and be assertive as needed
* Willing to travel and be stationed overseas for an extended period
