Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is headquartered in Singapore consists of several affiliated businesses that specializes in offshore & marine, property, infrastructure, and asset management businesses. They are actively looking to hire a Technical & Performance Engineer to join their ever-growing team.

The Responsibilities:

* Become an active member of the station team
* Assist the substation manager to meet the contract assembly, technical, commercial and contract warranties of the substation
* Liaise with relevant O&M team for long-term monitoring of station performance including part load and base load performance - monitor overall plant performance and performance of equipment and systems defined, not limited to fuel air compressors, air filters, boilers, turbines, condensers, and so on
* Prepare and update relevant monthly submissions to senior management and external stakeholders. 444-4 Review past outages and help consolidate work for future outages
* Review and implement practices, tools and techniques for reliable and efficient power plant operation and full utilization of all contractual power, fuel, and utility supply arrangements
* Monitor and review the technical and economic justification of projects that improve efficiency, reliability, sustainability, and safety
* Assist in establishing and maintaining operation and maintenance policies and procedures to meet relevant regulatory standards and requirements for energy management systems, quality management systems, tax laws carbon and sustainability reporting as applicable to power plants
* Participate in all health, safety, and environmental activities/practices
* Participate in training and engagement with guests, interns, new employees, and external employees
* Actively research new technologies and support related engineering research, testing and proof-of-concept to improve current and/or future power plant operating modes
* Assist with technical process reviews and contract contributions to relevant Company's infrastructure projects
* Incumbents will be required to comply with all legal and business health related requirements regarding their duties and responsibilities
* Perform additional duties and responsibilities as the Center Manager deems necessary

The Requirements:

* Minimum Qualifications - Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical/Process Engineering or Degree/Diploma preferably covers Power Generation/Thermodynamics
* At least 3 years' experience working in Combined Cycle Power Station with involvement in the technical monitoring of Gas Turbine operations and maintenance. Has prior experience in the erection, commissioning, and operations or maintenance of Combined Cycle Power Plant
* Detailed understanding and knowledge of Combined Cycle Power Station thermodynamics, operational procedures, and maintenance practices
* Good understanding of Power Station engineering design and construction. Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) is an advantage

Others:
Working Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Working Conditions: Air-conditioned office workstation within Power Plant and expect an ad hoc site involvement
