Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a Singaporean company consists of several affiliated businesses that specializes in offshore & marine, property, infrastructure, and asset management businesses. They are actively looking for an Assistant Technical Engineer to join their ever-growing team.

The Responsibilities:

* Become an active member of the station team
* Assists the Power Plant Manager with the establishment and operation of the Power Plant under contract, technical, and commercial terms
* Assist managers with long-term monitoring of plant performance - monitor overall plant performance and performance of identified equipment and systems, not limited to steam generators heat recovery, condenser, chemical dosing station, water treatment plant, chlorination power plant, etc.
* Supports monitoring of key operating parameters (boiler flow rate, main operating control valves, sewage discharge, etc.) and review against planned/completed work requirements
* Prepare reagents to perform laboratory sampling of acid tank water-related monitoring and initiate refills if necessary
* Maintain inventory of chemicals and consumables related
* To meet the discharge requirements of PUB
* Assist in establishing and implementing implementation procedures and O&M policies and procedures to meet all stations, economic viability of the business.
* Monitor and review the technical and economic justification of projects that improve efficiency, reliability, durability, and safety
* Assist fully with and participate in all Health, Safety and Environmental practices/activities.
* Participate in training both on and off site, to be trained and to train others as required (Visitor and Interns/New Hire Engagement and Management)
* The post holder will be expected to comply with all company and legislative health requirements relevant to their duties and responsibilities
* To undertake additional duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Power Station Manager

The Requirements:

* Minimum Qualifications - Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical/Process Engineering preferably aligned to Power Generation Thermodynamics and/or Chemistry
* Minimum Years of Experience - Preferred 2-3 years of experience working in Power Station O&M ideally on a CCPP
* Entry level candidates may also be considered
* Detailed understanding and knowledge of Combined Cycle Power Station thermodynamics
* Understanding of Power Station maintenance practices. Good understanding of Power Station engineering design and construction

Others:
Working Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Working Conditions: Air-conditioned office workstation within Power Plant and expect an ad hoc site involvement
