Our Client:

Our client is a pioneer Securities & Derivatives, Trading, and Clearing Member of Singapore Exchange. They are actively looking to hire a Relationship Manager/Senior Relationship Manager to join their fast-growing team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:
Overview of the Role

* Sourcing and onboarding of new offshore clients
* Understand needs, objectives, and risk profile of clients
* Advise clients on investment ideas / opportunities and other wealth management services and ensure investment suitability and timely execution
* Regular review of investment portfolios and risk profiles with clients
* Strict observance of risk and compliance / cross-border / AML issues and regulations
* Ensure that we achieve excellence in our clients' experience, building lasting relationships based on high standards of service and quality advice

Key Duties

* Build-up, maintain and expand a network of clients, introducing them to the company and Wealth Management platform
* Provide exceptional advice, service, and appropriate recommendations to clients with focus on understanding their needs, objectives, and risk tolerance
* Develop personalized wealth management solutions and investment ideas
* Enable the client to make informed financial decisions by providing clear, relevant, and timely information
* Regular and timely submission of progress reports, incl. existing business and prospect pipeline
* Constant and timely filing of call reports, following meetings with clients
* Communicate and work together with investment product and research department, giving input for generating new investment/product ideas
* Observe and follow regulatory and bank's policies and procedures like advisory handbook, cross-border rules, AML guidelines, and other risk/compliance issues: diligent and prompt reporting of irregularities/red flags to line manager/compliance officer

The Requirements:

* 5-10+ years of direct client relationship management experience in wealth management/investment advisory sales
* Fluent in English and Chinese to be able to liaise effectively with English-speaking and native Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
* Recognized University Degree and relevant certification
* Proven track record in client acquisition and retention success
* Disciplined, with deep understanding of Compliance and Regulatory framework of the industry
* Extensive investment product and market knowhow
* Strong relationship management and sales skills
* Driven, client-oriented with strong business acumen
