Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is an administrative support on IT, Finance & Accounting, HR, and IPO services to its own Group Companies in SEA region with high retention rates. They are currently looking for a Regional Procurement Executive to join their team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

* Effecting sales / order projects for Group companies\

o Contact person to coordinate sales, order and delivery based on purchase request needs (items / specifications, quantities, delivery schedules, etc.), including the sourcing of raw, indirect, auxiliary, MRO materials, etc. when necessary

o Liaise with related parties to facilitate contract assessments / negotiations, CR proposals (alternatives, consolidations, etc.) and effect the sales / order projects based on agreed contract terms and conditions
o Draft and coordinate related documents (quotations, purchase orders, invoices, BL, etc.) and monitor / ensure that delivery can meet purchase request needs
o In event of problems, emergencies, etc. to raise issues to project related parties and coordinate on solutions

* Promoting on VA / VE / CR activities and related projects

o Plan and propose on joint VA / VE / CR projects, information management projects, etc.; as well as coordinate with relevant parties to effect projects
o Understand on business developments / needs, provide consultation services, support on solutions, participate in specification developments, etc. and upkeep good customer relationships / satisfaction
o Organize and conduct joint procurement department meetings, maintain related records and follow-up with relevant parties to ensure the effect of discussed joint projects
o Represent in developing / maintaining of strategic supplier relationships, contract negotiations, policy formulations, etc. to gain purchasing leverage
o Obtain and analyze market conditions, key technology developments, supply chain information, purchase records, etc. and provide relevant parties with value added procurement reports / updates
o Conduct supply chain review and assess suppliers credit stability, etc. for suitability
o Maintain records and report on the activities, projects, problems, etc. in a timely manner
o Constantly track / report / ensure on the progresses of proposals, solutions, counter measures, etc. of outstanding activities, projects, problems, etc. and to consult related parties to avoid possible risk i.e., in event of difficulties, etc. to report / discuss with seniors, management, etc. immediately

* Creating, Updating and Maintaining sales / order projects related and IPO routine work related documents / data records including Monthly Report and VA Activity Sheet, etc.

The Requirements:

* Minimum Diploma holder in Logistic/ Supply Chain Management/ Engineering/ Manufacturing discipline

* Knowledge of ERP system such as SAP

* Minimum 3-5 years' relevant working experience in procurement role liaising with local / overseas suppliers

* Prior work experience in procurement of wires, cables, harness assemblies, and accessories will be an added advantage

* Team player and able to work independently

* Strong interpersonal skills, networking, and organizational skills

* Proficiency to communicate in Japanese language with JLPT N2 to liaise with native Japanese-speaking stakeholders such as suppliers

* Proficient in Microsoft Office
