Job Description
Our Client:
Our client is the leading manufacturer and supplier of engineering products, offering piping system solutions for various industries, with headquarter in Switzerland. They are looking for a Technical Service Engineer to handle technical and servicing work for the company's range of welding machines.
The Responsibilities:
* Act as the main instructor for welding course, perform on-site demonstration and technical trainings (inclusive of certification training)
* Handle repairing, regular maintenance to ensure in-house rental fleet are at optimal condition
* Conduct in-house or on-site solvent cementing, welding process and operational trainings of welding to trainees/clients
* Handle after-sales service such as on-site commissioning, calibration, servicing, troubleshooting as well as inspections or welding machineries
* Follow up and schedule for subsequent visits for projects, verification of welding procedures ensuring proper installation
* Ensure all visit reports along with database record of customers are documented timely and accurately
* Upkeep of service room, ensure quantity of spare parts are at optimal quantity, ensuring quick turnaround time for repair works
* Ensure client satisfaction and tasks are carried out within planned man-hours and in accordance to process flow
* Provide strong support to sales team on exhibitions, seminars, trainings, customers' technical enquiries and on and off-site customer visits (e.g. presentation/ service support/ replacement/ upgrading)
The Requirements:
* Preferably Diploma/ Degree in Mechatronics/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualifications
* Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repairing, servicing and maintenance
* Candidates who possess class 3 driving license would be advantageous
* Customer oriented, critical thinker with good communication skills, pleasant with positive attitude
* Good working knowledge in MS office
* Must be willing to travel across SEA region
