Our Client:
Our client provides energy management and clean energy systems and plays an increasingly significant role in the international energy market, especially in Japan. They are actively looking for an Accounting & Finance General Manager to join their team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
* Develop annual budget in collaboration with other members and obtain approval by the Board of Directors. And monitor and analyze the budget proceeding and report the results to the Board of Directors
* Manage and monitor daily cash flow operations
* Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions
* Develop and manage the cash flow forecast, monitoring bank balances and cash requirements
* Manage and monitor bookkeeping process for daily transactions and review the monthly financial statements
* Manage closing the quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and reporting to the headquarters. And report the financial performance to CFO periodically with detailed analysis and proposals for solutions if there are any financial issues
* Coordinate and complete annual audits
* Monitor the finance and accounting of overseas subsidiaries
* Manage operational procedures for taxation, including proposals on optimization for specific projects under development, in pursuit of tax efficiency in consultation with tax advisors
* Participate and actively be knowledgeable in finance, accounting, and tax regulations (including transfer pricing tax) not only in Singapore but also in other Asian countries
* Support the establishment and operation of new ERP program (SAP S4HANA) in consultation with the parent company. And continually improve systems and procedures
* Establish an in-house accounting function, taking over works from the outsourcing firm
* Co-work with other functional team members in meeting the requirements for external auditors and various internal corporate compliance and internal audit exercises
The Requirements:
* Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with 15 years of working experience, preferable in Gas / Power Industry
* Minimum of 5 years of management experience with Chartered Accountant certificate
* Experience in SAP accounting system
* Strong sense of Kaizen and work ethics
* Great interpersonal skills with understanding of multicultural teams
