Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a MNC with massive presence in Asia. They are actively looking to hire an Internal Auditor to join their team in Singapore.

About the Role:

* Support the development of the annual audit plan (The auditee organization would be overseas group companies (BUs) in Asia-Pacific area)
* Supports the implementation of the annual audit plan
* Supports the monitoring of each business unit
* Supporting Internal Audit Function of Business Unit
* To reporting in HQ
* Take supporting role within ad hoc projects

The Responsibilities:

* Developing the annual audit plan
* Support the collection of information from the relevant personnel and internal audit department of each BUs, as well as from the relevant departments regarding the risk recognition, control status and issues of the assigned BUs
* Support to investigate each country's regional regulatory trends
* Based on the collected information, to conduct risk assessments of BUs in cooperation with HQ and the internal audit department of each BUs
* Support to develop an annual audit plan and propose it to HQ

The Requirements:

* Knowledge of laws and regulations, and guidelines related to life insurance business
* Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of insurance industry (operation flow and business model of life insurance companies, external environment, etc.)
* Knowledge of laws and regulations, and guidelines related to life insurance business
* Holding the CIA qualification is advantageous
* Holding a qualification related to IT audit such as CISA, CISSP, etc. is desirable
* Having more than 6 years' work experience in audit work preferably insurance in Singapore
