Our Client:
Our client is a world leading energy corporation predominantly in oil and gas and is looking for awesome people to join the team as ETRM Business Analyst in an integrated IT environment in a highly complex and critical Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) platform.
The Responsibilities:
* Performs business analysis and product/project management role in an integrated IT environment in a highly complex and critical Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) platform and related operational systems/tools
* Provides advice or solution recommendation to address business pain points or improve business efficiency with technology or process change
* Works with other team members to understand resolutions to achieve greater self-sufficiency over time Consider support sustainability and total cost of ownership of new solutions
* Communicates with users about the progress of their incidents or service requests
* Participates in engagement with Supply & Trading management and key users in Asia-Pacific Region (Manila, Singapore, Perth) to understand their needs, issues, projects and changing business conditions
* Influences business users to work collaboratively together to achieve collective goals in innovation, modernization and efficiency building
* Collaborates with other IT colleagues to capture business requirements using Scaled Agile Frameworks; understands IT requirements generated by business strategies and operational requirements
* Works with business users, developers, testers and architects to collaboratively deliver applications, interfaces and IT services to Trading operations
* Ensures appropriate technical solutions meet business needs and are well adopted; participate in work plans for ongoing IT deliverables
* Proactively reviews and becomes familiar with all critical Supply and Trading applications (including Endur, RightAngle, GARM, mCAT, DWB, Power Apps and Power BI, OpenLink IRM, Sharepoint)
* Works with Managed Services Partners to ensure user issues/enhancements are acted on in a timely manner
The Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in IT or a business-related discipline (Commerce, Marketing, Economics, Business, Accounting)
* At least 3 years' Business Analysis experience
* Strong communicator and team player
* Experience in commodities, finance, trading support is preferred
* Experience in ION's suite of ETRM product, Power Apps, Power BI, RPA is advantageous
