Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a renowned real estate development company with a global presence, specializing in luxury properties, primarily in the Middle East. Over the years, they have undertaken numerous notable projects, many of which stand out for their grandeur and innovation.

They are looking to hire a Vice President in charge of commercial projects to ensure effective cascading of the commercial strategy into department business plans and to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies.

This role is based in Dubai, where you will be presented with opportunities to contribute to prestigious projects and gain valuable industry expertise. Although no relocation package is offered, we invite candidates to apply, regardless of where they are currently based.

The Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the Techno Commercial department to achieve objectives, including setting individual goals, performance management, and staff development
* Drive talent development initiatives, collaborating with experts to ensure a skilled workforce aligns with business needs
* Foster a value-driven culture by acting as a role model and promoting adherence to organizational values and ethics
* Provide procurement commercial management expertise to the delivery team in line with industry best practices and corporate policies
* Implement and oversee department policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and deliver cost-effective services
* Manage contract approval and renewal procedures in collaboration with the legal department to mitigate risks effectively
* Contribute technical expertise to enhance procurement management processes, benchmarking, and risk management initiatives
* Oversee the end-to-end tendering process for services, goods, and materials following established policies
* Develop and maintain a cost benchmark database and support procurement audits for policy adherence and improvement opportunities
* Collaborate with the Contracts department to review supplier registration forms and ensure compliance with quality standards
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, sustainability, productivity, and cost reduction
* Ensure timely and accurate preparation of unit reports adhering to organizational requirements and quality standards

The Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
* 15 years of relevant experience in a similar industry, preferably in the Real Estate Sector including at least 5 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities
