Our Client:
Our client is a prominent international logistics company that facilitates the movement of goods across the globe through various means such as land transportation, global air, and sea freight, contract logistics, and effective supply chain management.
The Regional IT Land Department manages all systems used by the Land Transport business in Asia-Pacific. As part of our growth strategy, a key initiative is to leverage the newly implemented TMS (Transportation Management System) to scale business growth across Asia-Pacific.
As part of the Regional IT Land team, you may also be involved in other aspects such as introduction of new system features into our IT landscape and ensuring a stable IT operation to support the Land community. Key responsibilities include the development of an APAC community of system experts, managing ongoing enablement programs to upskill the region, be the systems subject matter expert to support new implementations, and working with the business to streamline process standards to support the Company's APAC land transport strategy.
The Responsibilities:
* Drive business process best-practices via systems solution
* Derive innovative and effective solutions to solve business problems
* Lead the solutions, configuration, and implementation of land transport systems
* Planning and project management of implementation and rollouts
* Create implementation toolkits, models and templates to streamline the implementation process
* Promote and energize a thriving land systems community in the APAC region by introducing innovative system features and providing ongoing knowledge enhancement on system expertise
* Ensure that knowledge is effectively shared and maintained across the APAC community
* Continuously improve and develop innovative system solutions to support Land product development
The Requirements:
* Possess an innovative mindset, knowledge of systems and the IT supplier landscape in APAC to come up with systems solution to solve the business problems
* Excellent communication skills and understanding of the various cultures in Asia to order to build a strong relationship between the Regional Head Office and country stakeholders
* Excellent project management skills to ensure that projects meet their objectives
* Able to motivate and lead a team
* Business related travel may be necessary
