The Responsibilities
Most of your main responsibilities will be on ERP applications (SAP S4 HANA), and with some on Infrastructure:
* Solution & Service Delivery: Assume responsibility for driving the formulation of IT strategy and overseeing the provision of IT services to align with business strategy priorities
* Program & Project Management: Take charge of projects spanning various departments within the organization, employing proactive leadership to ensure the successful completion of all tasks within the agreed-upon constraints of time, cost, and quality
* Business Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with business and application owners, as well as other IT managers. Collaborate with business management to identify and prioritize application support needs, issues, and development projects
* Strategic IT Planning: Strategize, direct, and coordinate the planning of both demand and supply aspects of IT. Gather and prioritize IT demands from the business in order to create a structured portfolio of projects and enhancements that align with the overall business strategy
Your other accountabilities will be of:
* IT Leadership: Take charge of the IT function, overseeing all aspects of IT solution delivery and service support activities
* IT Application Management: Plan, oversee, and manage global and/or regional software application selection and implementation, ensuring minimal disruption to day-to-day business activities. Responsibilities include scheduling, testing, stakeholder and change management, resourcing, and communication
* IT Vendor Management: Direct and lead various IT management activities, including supplier management, solution delivery, management and control, security and risk management, IT finance, and IT workforce management. Lead the identification and appointment of relevant supplier contacts, ensure supplier compliance, and escalate issues using established procedures. Maintain a relationship with the supply manager to effectively manage application and human resource scheduling
* People Management: Provide management, coaching, leadership, development, and guidance to the solution delivery team. Develop comprehensive work plans for complex projects that span the entire organization, determining required tasks and resources
* Technology Trends: Stay up to date with IT industry trends, including technologies and pricing. Advise executives on leveraging technology trends to enhance competitiveness and drive intelligent technology investments
* Procedures and Standards: Direct the preparation, documentation, implementation, and review of policies, procedures, and standards for applications. Adhere to the company's policies (Code of Conduct)
* IT Demand Planning: Oversee the planning and management of demand within IT operations. Prioritize projects in the portfolio and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
* IT Budget Management: Manage the allocation and expenditure of IT capital and operational budgets
The Requirements:
* Possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher in an IT-related field
* Have at least 10 years of professional experience in IT delivery, particularly in ERP application. Solution delivery includes integration and implementation. A major plus should you are coming with logistics/supply chain industry experience
* Familiar in working with different territories globally, from Singapore. This role is to manage team members in Americas, Europe, and Asia
* Highly experienced in global business relationship management: internal facing and external facing. Strong communication and presentation abilities
* Demonstrate expertise in project management. Familiar in multitasking and thriving in high-pressure environments. Demonstrate a strong background in IT projects
* Display capability to implement changes within a team
* Effective time management skills to ensure timely completion of assignments
* Demonstrate a business-centric approach, a strong commitment to quality, and the ability to handle complexity
* Show a genuine passion for IT Infrastructure technology
