Job Title: Legal Consultant
Our Client: Our client is a global organisation in the Retail industry.
The Responsibilities:
* Support and take the lead in negotiating, preparing and reviewing of various legal documents including commercial, procurement agreements, employment, investment related agreements
* Provide proactive legal advice to achieve business objectives and appropriately managing legal risks
* Ensure contracts and agreements are compliant with legal and statutory requirements
* Develop policies, processes, regulatory and compliance frameworks to elevate the internal ways of working to international best practices while also supporting the education and learning of various stakeholders, where needed
* Assist in corporate governance matters, including corporate filings, internal board meetings, and compliance with corporate policies and procedures
The Requirements:
* Degree in Law or Business
* 3 to 5 years of experience in Retail or FMCG industries
* Strong knowledge of corporate law, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance and experience in tenancy agreements within Asia Pacific
* Self-motivated and positive team player who is detail-oriented and analytical
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
