Our Client:
Our client is a Japanese Trading company dealing in commodity plastics, engineering plastics, electronic materials, medical & healthcare products. They are currently looking for a passionate individual to join their team in Singapore as a Procurement Executive in their Food Division.

The Responsibilities:
• Handling full procurement functions including liaising with sales and suppliers on requirements, evaluation, negotiation and awards
• Conducting sourcing event including RFP/ tender
• Developing alternative suppliers and coordinate their qualification and approval
• Managing vendors to ensure quality, pricing and delivery objectives are met
• Working with Sales and Supply Chain Team on supply/ delivery matters for contract
• Following up with sales team on projects status and feedback to supplier
• Engaging and coordinating with suppliers for regulatory documentation support for sales team
• Other Ad hoc assignment by the Product Manager

The Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Procurement/ Supply Chain/ Chemistry or equivalent qualification
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience preferably in Food and Beverage/ Food Ingredient/ Chemical Trading industry
• Able to work independently under minimal supervision, motivated, proactive and a team player
• Strong interpersonal skills and experienced in vendor management & contract negotiation
• Possess good attention to detail and organized in nature
