Our Client:
Japanese shipping service company is looking for an assistant manager to join their tankers operation teams.
The Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with ships' Master, charterers, ship owners, technical managers and port agents for smooth voyage, effective entry to ports, and loading/unloading of cargo
* Check and handle for ship and cargo documents to ensure smooth vessel operation
* Timely and accurate input of voyage data into operations software system
* Check operations data inputted into the system for accuracy and completeness in preparation for monthly voyage financial report by Accounts Team
* Check and verify vendor invoices and co-ordinate payment schedules with accounting staff to ensure timely settlement
* Maintain good working relationship with business partners
The Requirements:
* Min 8 years experience in vessel operation (especially tanker operations)
* Good working knowledge and experience in ship operations and chartering software
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Possess University Degree or relevant Diploma from Polytechnics
