Our Client:

Our client is one of the global insurance claims provider. Due to team expansion, they are looking for one more person to join their team. Good training and career development provided.

The Responsibilities:

Responsible for processing and investigating insurance claims. This involves working with the policy holder, Insurers, Brokers, colleagues and other professionals to ensure claims are managed timely and in accordance with policy terms and conditions.

* End-to-end WICA claims management from registration to finalisation
* Detailed knowledge of the existing and new MOM WICA legislative changes introduced 1 Jan 2021
* Assess WICA claims in line with the MOM policy limits
* Ability to work independently and make decisions
* Register claims accurately and timely to ensure all data is captured within the relevant platforms
* Collect accurate information and documents to proceed with the claim process
* Analyse claims made by policyholders to establish whether it satisfies the policy conditions
* Guide policyholders on how to proceed with claims
* Identify reasons why policy conditions do not apply
* Correspond with network providers and approved professionals
* Monitor the progress of a claim to assist with quick resolutions
* Investigate potentially fraudulent claims
* Prepare an initial estimate of costs ensuring reserves are updated throughout the claim lifecycle
* Act on advice from external specialists, such as medical experts, lawyers and loss adjusters on complex claims
* Investigate cause of loss ensuring it falls under policy coverage
* Ability to understand and apply policy exclusions where necessary
* Medical claims knowledge
* Adhere to legal requirements, industry regulations and customer quality standards set by the company

The Requirements:

* Diploma/Degree holder
* 3 years WICA claims experience
* Travel Claims experience is preferred
* Initiative and the ability to adapt quickly to different situations
* Good numeracy and literacy
* Time Management
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
* Advanced excel and powerpoint skills
* Analytical with attention to detail
* Team Player
