Job Description
Our Client:
Our client is an international undisputed leader in the Marine industry that provides Mechanical products is on the lookout to relocate their business unit to Singapore and now they are looking to hire PLM Software Engineer.
The Responsibilities:
* Develop customizations for PLM software using C/C++/Java/AngularJS
* Working on cloud infrastructure, integration, and cloud server provisioning
* Writing application level code to interact with APIs, RESTful Web Services using AJAX, and JSON is required
* Conduct software installation and overall build process of the Teamcenter PLM system across multiple environments
* Troubleshoot PLM technical issues at various levels like installation, deployment, configuration, server side and client-side issues etc.
* Support system administrator tasks as required such as system upgrade test and validation, and end user support
The Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree required, Computer Science or Engineering preferred
* 1-3 years of work experience as a software or applications developer
* Programming experience required in one of C/C++/C#/Java, usage of Git/SVN/CVS
* Experience in SDLC either Waterfall or Agile
* Development experience using Eclipse, Visual Studio or one of the standard IDEs
* Good verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
* Flexibility to work early/late hours to allow some overlap with US hours
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with PLM applications especially Teamcenter
* Scripting Languages (Perl/Python) a plus
* Hands on experience with CI/CD tools and processes
* Knowledge of Databases, Server Setups, Hardware analysis, and Performance tuning a plus
* Exposure to product development processes in a manufacturing company
* Exposure to design and modelling concepts a plus
