Our Client:
Our client is a subsidiary of Japanese trading company involved in the storage, delivery and supply chain services in Singapore.
They are now looking for an operations executive to join their team.
The Responsibilities:
* Monitor customers' order & allocate resources based on situation / requirements
* Coordination with booking agents or ship operators for status of supply schedule / vessel loading
* Attend to customer's inquiries relating to documents, example: delivery receipts & witness / declaration forms
* Check vessel schedule via Portnet & Jurong Port online
* Responsible for vehicle maintenance and repair status
* Prepare and check all shipping documents to ensure that they are complete and comply with customers to ensure deliveries are fulfilled
* To standby / handling 24/7 duty phone (rotation) during operations
The Requirements:
* Possess GCE 'O' level or Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management
* At least 3 years relevant experience in 3rd party logistics, preferably in Traffic Planning, work force planning and allocations
* Willing to work on 24/7 standby to answer agent / client query on supply status
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills
