Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is one of the top leading FMCG companies with its headquarters in Japan. Their Singapore office is looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager who will manage less than 10 staffs within the team. Handle both modern and HORICA channel. Will hold a Deputy Manager role for a start and potentially be promoted to Manager if performance is excellent during probationary period.

Overall Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Manage and lead the domestic sales teams and collaborate relevant teams

2. Motivate and educate colleagues for their growth

3. Develop and enhance corporate & product brand reliability

4. Collaborate with each Group globally and consider company overall optimization

1. Sales

* Provide leadership, direction and strategies to meet sales and profit targets
* Set objectives and action plans for direct sales and distributors' sales effort and map out strategies for achieving them with the aim to achieve annual sales target
* Perform products management to enhance the product mix
* Evaluate and formulate pricing policy
* Manage and control each product PL
* Ensure periodical review on debtors' ageing are under control
* Perform competitive analysis with the team to develop sales proposals and responses to market situation
* Evaluate and increase market-share of brand in the targeted market base
* Ensure legal compliance to competitive laws

2. Marketing

* Conceptualize, develop, propose and manage annual marketing plans / strategies and budget for domestic consumers business
* Gather and evaluate market information, monitor products development and product line forecasting in order to suit market and product management needs
* Formulate and monitor the implementation of marketing activities - promotion and advertising strategies
* Identify business opportunities for sales expansion
* Enhance and stabilize Brand name awareness
* Negotiation with factories and key customers on business terms and conditions

3. Customer Service

* Set up the administrative, sales structure and procedures for smooth and effective execution of customer service and sales support
* Ensure all consumers feedback are professionally managed
* Manage customers' claims in professional manner
* Establish excellence relationship with customers

4. Inventory Control and Distribution

* Evaluate local distribution needs and distribution networks to maximize sales growth and to improve operational efficiency
* Source and establish good relationship with distributors
* Oversees product sales and distribution pattern in order to facilitate in strategic stocks procurement activities
* Monitor and minimize unnecessary products damage, expiry and wastage
* Ensure continuous maintenance, improvement and compliance to ISO quality management system standards

5. Others

* To ensure duties are covered during staff absence
* Assist in recruitment needs within division requirements including candidate interviewing and selections
* Any other tasks as and when assigned by the Management

The Requirements:

* At least 5 years of related working experience as a managerial role in sales and marketing, preferably in Food Products industry
* Experience in leading a team less than 10
* Experience in Management reporting
