Our Client:
Our client is a market leader for various industries including Waste-To-Energy Projects, Semi-Conductors, Mining and Solar. Their technology and expertise provide seamless technology solution to the industry. With a with strong reputation in the market, they are in the midst of growing and are seeking a Piping Engineer to be part of their team.
The Responsibilities:
* 3D modeling of equipment, piping system and pipe support using CADworx
* Development of equipment layout drawing, detailed piping drawing and isometric drawing
* Prepare datasheet for valves, special type fittings & strainers and coordinate with vendor to make sure the right product is delivered
* Review the documents & drawings of vendor supplied equipment, valves and skids to verify the piping requirements are met
* Perform stress analysis as required
* Perform site inspection at vendor manufacturing unit to qualify & check vendor can supply the bulk requirement on demand.
* Assist project & engineering team for modification requirement during construction. Prepare as-built drawings after completion of construction and documents as necessary
The Requirements:
* Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
* Good interpersonal skills with proven ability of collaboration within a multi-discipline team in a large-scale construction environment
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with proven capability in reporting to senior management levels
* Good organizational and time management skills with ability to produce accurate work within strict timelines
