Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is one of the top leading manufacturing companies with its headquarters in Japan.
They have their own factory in Singapore and their Singapore office is looking for a Senior Process Engineer for Reel-to-Reel Plating.

The Responsibilities:

* Oversee day-to-day operation of reel-to-reel process
* Drive process development, inclusive of process/product characterization, qualification and production pilot runs and volume ramp
* Initiate/Drive and participate improvement projects related to Quality, productivity, and cost
* Participate in technological awareness in the process area to anticipate technological changes and recommend/propose actions for improvement of existing processes
* process and quality issues troubleshooting, failure analysis, and implementation of CAPA (corrective and preventive actions)
* Monitor stability of production process via follow up and daily analysis of quality date from upstream processes/ plating/ final inspection to determine effectiveness of corrective actions
* Take part in process improvement and cost reduction programs of plating processes

The Requirements:

* Experience in hands on of reel-to-reel electro-plating (operation and troubleshooting)
* Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent Degree holder or above
* Knowledge & experience in Reel to Reel plating technology, like FPC, Ni Plating or Au plating, or plating on connectors is a MUST
* Familiar with process improvement tools including FMEA, SPC etc.
* Good communication and organizational skills
* Independent, self-driven and proactive individual
* Able to think out of the box to cope with ever changing customer requirement on new product
* Able to work under tight project schedule
