Job Description

Our Client:

Our client, an international organization that provides various services to the Marine & Offshore industry is looking for an experience Maintenance Supervisor/Specialist to join their technical team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

* Ensure that all activities are carried out in line with the company policies and procedures, including Life Saving Rules and Permit to Work system
* Develop maintenance program for all the equipment assets at Singapore base and ensure that all maintenance is carried out to a high standard, completed in a timely manner and within budget
* Develop detailed scope of work for equipment repair/rehabilitation/upgrade
* Coordinate work with contractors to ensure high quality of deliveries, on time completion and within allocated budget
* Driving the efficient maintenance/rehabilitation of equipment to the highest standards and in compliance with regulatory/industry standard requirements
* Review and update operational guidelines and maintenance procedures for new and existing equipment to ensure safe and effective operation
* Ensure Maximo records of all equipment and dispersant stockpile at Singapore base are up to date and liaise with the UK Database Administrator for alignment of data entry
* Lead the commissioning of new equipment, review the performance, and report the acceptance to Facility and Maintenance Manager
* Ensure that planned facility maintenance is carried out according to the contract, on schedule and within the allocated budget
* Maintain documented standards relating to equipment in accordance with the Company's Asset Management Strategy, which includes items such as specific materials to be used, type and size of fittings, specification / grade of components, minimum/maximum performance standards, branding, lifting standards, management of spares, compliance requirements and other specific considerations
* Provide safe, prompt, and efficient support to spill incidents, exercises and equipment hire projects globally
* Ability to think 'out of the box' and bring creative, and innovative solutions to resolve problems and enhance team productivity

The Requirements:

* Diploma/Degree in Engineering
* 5 years experience in equipment maintenance with working knowledge and hands on experience in troubleshooting internal combustion engines, hydraulics, pumps, and electrical system. Previous supervision experiences is a plus
* Experience in contractor / vendor management
* Be able to communicate clearly, effectively, and confidently with internal and external stakeholders in English, both verbally and in writing
* Strong and effective team working abilities
* Demonstrate initiative, versatility, adaptability, and good problem-solving abilities in challenging environments
* IT literate (Windows environment including MS Office). Experience in Maximo Asset Management System and NetSuite ERP system is a plus
* Familiar with HSE requirements/regulations and oil & gas industry best practices
* Be able to travel internationally at short notice for extended periods as needed by the Company
