Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is Singapore's leading general insurer, with a solid presence in Singapore for over 100 years. The Responsibilities:

* Assist in UAT for IFRS17
* Prepare Head Office Quarterly Reporting Packages on IFRS17 basis
* Backup for staff who is preparing Head Office Quarterly Packages on IFRS4 basis
* Manage DUAL portfolio. This includes reconciliation, processing of payments, addressing of queries and User Acceptance Testing in connection with launch of new products and system migration
* Reconcile statements received from facultative reinsurers, follow up on reinsurance outstanding debtors and settlement
* Perform Broker accounts premium settlements
* Undertake any other duties as may be assigned

The Requirements:
Qualifications:

* Must have Degree in Accounting (Local Uni) and/or CFA/ CPA qualifications

Skills/Knowledge:

* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Experience:

* Working experience in accounting, preferably insurance-related
* Must have experience in Group Reporting
* Must have experience in Finance Operations
* Strong in Microsoft Office Excel
* Knowledge in IFRS17 and IFRS4
