Job Description

Our Client:

Our Client is a leading Japanese FMCG Company which operates in over 70 countries, and products are sold in more than 130 countries.

The Responsibilities:

* Ensures effective supplier relationship management
* Implements the appropriate pre-defined strategies, works in close collaboration with local Category Managers/Cluster Procurement Manager to create & manage cross-functional suppliers' lists in the most efficient & effective manner
* Strategies and implements cluster and local procurement action plans as per Global/Regional/Cluster strategic directions
* Supports cluster and local cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Sources and manages regional/local tactical suppliers' pool. Negotiates best value contracts and ensures optimal and sustainable supply conditions
* Implements recommended strategic sourcing plan/decisions
* Drives supplier selection processes in close cooperation with respective business partners
* Takes preventive actions to ensure security of supply and resolves problems in due time

The Requirements:

* Minimum Diploma / Degree in relevant Discipline
* Minimum 2-5 years of relevant indirect sourcing experience
* Proficiency in SAP
