Job Description

The Client

My client is the Centre of Excellence tasked with driving digital transformation of the overall group.
They are currently looking for a Principal Software Engineer that can operate full autonomy to provide leadership in designing and implementation of complex solutions.

Responsibilities

* Design and implementation of complex solutions
* Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code
* Design and build scalable applications able to handle high load
* Apply TDD building applications with high test coverage
* Lead team discussions when solving problems or designing new systems
* Mentor less experienced team members

Requirements

* 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
* Proficient in Golang/Java with good knowledge of development best practice
* Understanding and experience with Frontend technologies
* Experience and ability to build CI/CD pipelines from the ground up
* Knowledge of various design and architectural patterns
* Knowledge about data structures, algorithms complexity
* Strong understanding of RMDB Design, Performances and MySQL
* Resilient and result oriented team player with strong work ethic
* Knowledge of Agile workflow and especially SCRUM

Other Information

* Hands on experience with Kubernetes
* Hands on experience with GCP
* Understanding of Microservices architecture
