Our Client:
An excellent opportunity to join our client who is a Singapore-based SGX-listed real estate/ developer company which has strong envision in real estate, retail, and hospitality development. They are in an expansion phase across SEA and is currently looking to hire a Finance Manager to work closely with their management team within immediately/ short notice. The Responsibilities:
This managerial position is responsible for supporting both operational finance & FP&A activities of the Corporate Office in Singapore, covering both Singapore and Indonesia's projects. He/She plays a pivotal role to the organization's daily operational work and be involved in system migration too.
* Lead a finance team and be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance operations which include financial and management reporting and analysis, statutory reporting, taxation reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, and treasury matters
* Hands on role supporting the Heads of BU and Operations
* Ensure financial reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with financial reporting standards and taxation laws (Singapore & Indonesia)
* Identify and recommend improvements to the accounting and reporting functions and work processes
* Ensure that workflow processes complied with group Policy & Procedures and recommend internal control improvements to workflow processes for finance departments
* Responsible for taxation matters including corporate income tax, GST, property tax, and handling tax queries from IRAS
* Responsible for treasury matters including loan financing, loan compliance and operational cashflow management
* Work closely with Heads of BU and Operations on budgets, forecasts, and operational matters
* Responsible for monitoring and tracking of financial and project budgets
The Requirements:
An ideal candidate would be someone who:
* Is able start work immediately/within 2 weeks' notice will be an advantage
* Experience in Audit & Commercial experience in Real Estate industry will be a plus
* Familiar with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), IFRS, Singapore corporation taxation and consolidation accounting
* Familiar with Indonesia' accounting practices will be an advantage
* Strong focus on continuous improvement of processes and digitalisation
* Strong written and communication skills
* Energetic and able to multitask
* Able to work independently and as a team
* Excellent time management and organization skills
