Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is an MNC in the automotive industry. Due to expansion, they are looking for a Part Development Specialist to join them.

The Responsibilities:

* Respond to the development process of parts; Ensure the quality of developed parts, manage development plan, and respond to the events along with the development process
* Select suppliers per each item and decide the unit costs
* Manage the cost of investment and material
* Support managing procurement of KD (Knocked Down) parts and manage the unit cost
* Research local suppliers and manage parts suppliers
* Devise and execute strategies of purchasing parts
* Devise and execute unit cost reduction plans, negotiate costs of parts with the suppliers
* Collect information about laws and policies related to procurement and apply the information to the strategy for purchasing parts
* Conduct tasks related to the parts development and purchasing
* Conduct the customs clearance and the general procurement until the procurement organization is completed

The Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in machine / electronics / electric / chemical engineering
* 3-5 years of experience in purchasing and developing parts
* Experience in the automotive industry or parts supplier preferred
* Self-motivated and proactive personality
* Positive and passionate about the work
* Proficiency in Korean is added advantage to liaise with Native Korean Speaking Stakeholders
