Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is one of the Top Banks in Korea. Their Singapore branch is looking for a Junior IT Engineer to join them.

The Responsibilities:

* Daily operations and administration of the IT infrastructure services
* Ensure technical issues resolved within the time frame given
* Service and change request fulfilment such as provisioning of infrastructure resources and patch management
* Performance monitoring and management which includes periodically review of capacity and utilization rate to maintain the quality of service
* Provide technical advice and submission of technical proposal to improve the sustainability and reliability of IT infrastructure service
* To schedule project plan and time frame and monitoring progress and update report status
* Rectify and close the identified gap due to regulatory requirements and audit findings
* Monthly management and service reporting
* Drafting documentation such as guidelines, policies, and SOP according to industries and regulatory standards

The Requirements:

* Degree in IT / Computer Engineering or 1-2 years relevant work experience
* Past work experience in Network, AIX/Linux/Windows server, Storage/Backup, and IT Troubleshooting preferred
* Strong interest in programming or proficiency in programming language (Shell/Python) preferred
* Proficiency in Korean is an added advantage to liaise with Native Korean Speaking Stakeholders
