Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a global leading provider of Environmental Solutions covering design, engineering, technology development, construction, operation as well as maintenance of plants and facilities. They are looking for an Operation Shift Engineer to be responsible for daily operation of plant.

The Responsibilities:

* Responsible for daily operations in plant, ensuring operational and quality requirements are efficient
* Monitor energy performance as well as operational works of the plant
* Carry out improvement programs, ensuring safety requirements are met
* Work closely with the Maintenance department on daily activities
* Preparation of periodic review of work instruction
* Handle troubleshooting on plant process whenever required
* Liaise with external parties to fulfil operational requirements
* Ensure plant complies with HSE as well as regulatory requirement, documentation complies with ISO requirements too
* Authorizing maintenance work in the plant to ensure preparedness of equipment to carry out works
* Control site incident, activate response team as well as external parties if emergencies happens on site
* Lead shift team whilst on duty and take on overall responsibility on site during non-office hours
* Raise service request for any abnormality found during plant operation

The Requirements:

* Diploma in Chemical Process Technology with minimum 5 years of working experience
* Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or related engineering fields with minimum 2 years of working experience
* Self-driven, positive attitude and a good team player
* Must be willing to work on shift, multiple sites
* Candidates with experience in water and energy industry will be added advantage
* Able to work beyond normal working hours due to operational needs
