Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is one of the top leading media companies, headquartered in US. Their Singapore office is looking for a Supervisor, Production Management & Servicing Global.

The Responsibilities:

* Oversee a team responsible for the creation of digital assets for one of our Services in APAC territories. The person must have relevant experience of the complexity of digital distribution, with an aptitude for problem solving and workflow design, and work well under pressure and remain productive. The person must have good project management skills, and organizational ability, and able to support his/her line manager in strategic planning and representation and engage their own team in delivering on day-to-day objectives.
* Oversees a team to ensure completion of assets (audio, video, subtitling, poster arts and metadata) is in line within agreed deadlines and to the agreed technical standards and costs while ensuring creative consistency
* The servicing orders include, both Disney own branded and 3rd party acquired titles including catalogue and currents episodic, feature, and shorts, and the team is responsible in working with multiple internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure assets are localized, processed, packaged, and delivered to the highest quality in time for the services
* Make sure the team's daily responsibilities are met: The responsibilities include but not limited to; order validation of deliverables and timelines, asset research and retrieval, place orders to vendors for localization and packaging, QC remediation and rejections, review, and approval of invoices, and tracking and archiving of assets
* Partner with the business stakeholders, such as Business Operations, Global Content Operations and Content team to understand the product strategy and content plan, and based on the inputs, manage, and accurately plan high volumes of data (asset research, programming lists, delivery schedules)
* Work closely and collaboratively with the Global and Regional Operational teams and external vendors to build and sustain workflows and good working relationships, and proactively discuss any issues or areas of improvements to be made
* Monitor the performance of vendors and ensure performance meets or exceeds standards and targets inclusive of cost efficient and timely asset delivery, and production milestones
* Facilities high level updates Status (launches and post launches)
* Analyze issues and problem solve, and works with the line manager to review workflows and the adoption of new technical opportunities
* Help to plan and manage budget, and make sure the spending is within the budget, provide forecast and cost analysis as required
* Works with line manager to develop the team, review workflows and meet business objectives
* Coaches direct reports to build a high performing team

Communication Requirements:

* Provide proactive direction and leadership to manage the team
* Communicate with internal and external stakeholders throughout Global territories, including but not limited to Global Content Operations, Library Technical Services, Programming and Acquisitions and partner platforms to understand their media requirements, customization, and delivery requirements to ensure the orders are fulfilled in a timely manner across all serving regions
* Handle inquiries and complaints regarding any operation or technical issues from both internal and external parties, and think strategically, examining issues from broad perspective to provide solutions
* Establish maintain a good working relationship with external vendors
* Drives results holding themselves and others accountable to high performance standards, and managing projects with appropriate metrics to assess performance

The Requirements:

* At least 7 years of experience working in a television or media company
* Proven experience of working with a wide range of digital and linear platforms
* Thorough experience of content localization, production, mastering and digital distribution
* Excellent and demonstrable project management experience
* Able to prioritize effectively & adopt flexible approach to different tasks
* Ability to work effectively under pressure
* Demonstrable management training experience and a team leadership background
* Effective oral and written English skills to liaise effectively with English-speaking stakeholders
