Our Client:
Our client one of the top leading FMCG companies with its headquarters in Japan dealing with wholesale distribution of chemicals and food products guided by bioscience and fine chemical technologies. Their Singapore office is looking for an Assistant Manager who will handle cosmetic ingredients for personal care products in the ASEAN region.
The Responsibilities:
Sales Development
* Achieve the sales & profit goals
* Work closely on enquiries/quotations from customers/distributors
* Coordination of meetings with customers/distributors to suggest proposals
* Brainstorm and suggest improvement plan for the sales activities in team
* Collaborate internally with regional colleagues to brainstorm solutions and optimize opportunities to improve sales revenue
* Follow up with the customer's projects and give support
* Investigate and find solutions for any regulatory issues
* Report on the sales and business opportunities, and any issues
Marketing
* Develop and execute business plans/strategies for the development of personal care business in the ASEAN, Oceania, and India region
* Identify customer's needs and work with the internal/external teams to create solutions and resolve any issues
* Make use of DX to improve the communication with customers/distributors
* Execute market research and surveys for cosmetic products relating to concepts, trends, and market size and relay such information to Sales and Technical team
* Liaise with Exhibition organizers, booth contractors, transporter, local distributors for all pre and post exhibition & webinar preparations
* Prepare brochures/samples/promotional materials and presentations for sales activities
Supply and Demand Management
* Monitor all orders and requests from customers/distributors closely
* Manage the allocation of the stock to each customers/distributor. Keeping close communication with the sales manager
* Follow up and compile sales reports and forecasts from customers/distributors
* Ensure compliance of regulatory for warehouse and logistics
* Manage and support third party warehouse company
The Requirements:
* Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Process Technology/Industrial Chemistry or any chemistry study related discipline
* At least 8 years related working experience in Cosmetic/Personal Care Industry in developing formulation for personal care products
* Experience in Trading firms would be an advantage
* Basic knowledge/experience of cosmetics ingredients would be an advantage
