Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is one of the glowing MNC in import/export of chemical products and related investments.

They are looking for Sales Executive / Senior Sales Executive to manage the Sales & Marketing activities in the Asia Pacific region for their Polyolefin products.

The Responsibilities:

* Set up credit line, review and analyze financial status of customers and manage credit control and any outstanding invoices
* Coordinate with overseas offices for potential expansion of Specialty Polymer and Commodity Plastics sales
* Correspond & coordinate with supplier, clients & our overseas offices including Head Office in Tokyo, to support customer in the region
* Monthly or weekly pricing from suppliers to customers / distributors
* Perform half yearly reviews on sales budget set with suppliers / distributors
* Prepare monthly sales result / report or as and when required
* Identify new business opportunities, maintain good relationship and maximizing business opportunity share from the customers
* Support sale presentations for new product grade
* Managing and coordinate customer support activities to maximize profit, growth and industry awareness within the product marketing strategies / objectives
* Maintain regulatory compliance of activities in assigned area
* Support in sales budget realization according to the fixed price list
* Responsible for supporting in local key account management, plans and customer contacts
* Develop sales strategy and provide local market intelligence and share within team
* Managing end user relations by coordinating with agent activities, technical services, marketing, and distribution in the area

The Requirements:

* Minimum Diploma/Degree in any discipline with experience in import & export/trading business
* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience/knowledge of Plastics/Specialty Chemicals industry is strongly preferred
* Proficiency in Japanese language is preferred to liaise with Japanese stakeholders
* Travel overseas for business trips as and when needed
