Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a global leading provider of environmental solutions covering design, engineering, technology development, construction, operation as well as maintenance of plants and facilities. They are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer to work on instrumentation, control, automation and information system of projects.

The Responsibilities:

* Handle design work for I&C and automation system (including design calculations, system integration, logic control, P&ID, functional description, design technical specification, estimation, etc.) with compliance with specification requirement and code of practice
* Review design documents (including P&ID, protection and layout, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity) to achieve plant's integration and functional objectives
* Evaluate and review equipment package to ensure technical compliance from suppliers and vendors are met
* Prepare proposal (including design, drawings, layout and interface points requirement) for technical submission
* Coordinate on-site activities assigned during project commissioning and execution phase
* Support commercial team in managing equipment package execution, identifying gaps between technical and contractual requirements
* Prepare report and attend meetings/discussion as and when required
* Ad hoc tasks assigned by management

The Requirements:

* Diploma/ Degree in Instrumentation, Control and Automation, Chemical, IT, Electrical and Electronics or equivalent
* Minimum 5 years of working experience with minimum 2 years of experience in automation/ construction/ design/operations
* With background from thermal power plants/ process plants will be an added advantage
* Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, customers and vendors
