Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a multinational company that operates in many business sectors such as Oral Care, Health & Beauty, Motorcycle parts, and Chemicals which was originally established in Japan. They are looking to hire a CIA certified Regional Manager to handle the Asia region based on the Company's methodology.

The Responsibilities:

* Establish and manage the regional internal audit function based on the global methodology
* Identify and prioritize risks on a regional and local level which require monitoring, control, and development of a risk-based audit plan
* Conduct Internal Audits based on the approved Internal Audit plan, timely and in high quality
* Derive Internal Audit methodology, identify scope, design Internal Audit program, set-up templates for deliverables
* Perform interviews, process walkthroughs and testing
* Perform independent and objective reviews and analyses of business activities and data and related policies and internal control to improve operations, comply with laws, regulations, and company policies to better manage risks
* Lead regional/local co-sourcing engagements as per approved Internal Audit plan

The Requirements:

* Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a CIA
* Excellent knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
* Minimum 10 years of working experience with 5 years in Internal Audit, preferably Japanese MNC
* Strong technical and analytical skills
* High sense of integrity and understanding of priorities of operational business
* Strong team player, who can work effectively with multicultural colleagues with great communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong stakeholders' management and excellent project coordination skills
* Willingness to travel
